HAPPY TAMU LHOSAR 2073

It's time to celebrate  Happy New Year for Gurungs. My students  made this chart  of  Gurung zodiac showing 12 animals representing a twelve year cycle. They used their cut and paste book for this activity. It was a fun project as they were  busy cutting, pasting and saying Bye Bye Monkey Welcome Bird. 

Dental Camp 2073

Yesterday was a free dental check up of our student with the support from Nagarik Community Teaching Hospital. We displayed few materials made by our students. Many children had caries and were referred to further treatment.

Raksha Bandhan 2073

Raksha Bandhan is a big festival for all the sisters and brothers. It falls on the month of Shrawan's full moon day. This year  Raksha Bandhan was on the 18th of August. Sisters tie rahki to their brother's hand and pray for his long and good health. But in our school every child made one rakhi for themselves. It was a fun filled day and almost every child  had glitters on their hands and face.They enjoyed photo shooting too.
